Confidence in the economic climate declines in October for Mexican entrepreneurs

The sign of entrepreneurs' self-confidence (ICE) in Mexico decreased by 0.4 factors in October from September, according to the nation's institute Inegi.The manufacturing industry decreased by 0.4 points, while commercial tasks decreased by 0.8 factors, the civil building and construction by 0.5 factors and the exclusive non-financial services boosted by 3.5 points.In relation to October 2021, the ICE for the exclusive non-financial solutions decreased by 8 factors, while industrial tasks declined by 6.6 points, the civil building and construction decreased by 2.8 points as well as the manufacturing sector declined by 2.2 points.Today, the ICE in outright terms shows a general pessimism, as the numbers for all these sectors stand below the 50 factors note that separates positive outlook from pessimism: the production market at 49.8 points, the civil construction at 47.6 points, the industrial activities at 48.8 points and the exclusive non-financial solutions at 44.8 points.
