China's coal imports down 10.5 percent in January-October

In the January-October period this year, China's coal imports totaled up to 230.098 million mt, decreasing by 10.5 percent year on year, as revealed by the Chinese customizeds authorities on November 7. In October alone, China's coal imports totaled 29.182 million mt, up 8.3 percent year on year, while declining by 11.7 percent month on month.
