ArcelorMittal spends $25 million in atomic energy firm in US
Luxembourg-based steelmaker ArcelorMittal has revealed that it has spent $25 million in US-based nuclear power business Terra Power with its XCarb ™ innovation fund."The XCarb ® Innovation Fund is designed to purchase innovations which hold the possible to speed up the world's shift to internet absolutely no and also support the decarbonisation of our industry. TerraPower is as a result a best fit for our Innovation Fund," Irina Gorbounova, head of the XCarb ® Innovation fund, said. Considering that its launch in March in 2015, the XCarb ™ technology fund has made financial investments of a complete $122.5 million in five business - US-based electrical solutions company Heliogen, US-based renewable resource storage space programmer Type Energy, US-based carbon recycling firm LanzaTech, Israel-based H2Pro as well as TerraPower.
